The Mental Health Center (MHC), headquartered in Billings, is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to high quality mental health and chemical dependency care in South Central Montana.

A qualified staff of over 160, including psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, nurses, case managers, chemical dependency counselors and support staff offer a very comprehensive mental health and chemical dependency evaluation and treatment service in an eleven county area. Each year thousands of men, women, and children are assisted in finding mental health solutions.

OUTREACH LIAISON

Full time position supported by Path Grant and based at the HUB to provide services to persons with severe, disabling mental illness and to persons who are homeless.  Duties include identifying candidates and working to coordinate training opportunities for them, as well as linking them with activities and services that may enable them to transition out of homelessness.

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with at least one year of full time experience serving people with severe, disabling mental illness preferred.  Position requires good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to do detailed paperwork; valid driver’s license; and a working knowledge of community services.

GROUP HOME STAFF

Group Home Staff to work full and part time (variety of shifts available) providing on-site supervision of adults who have severe, persistent mental illness.   Prefer at least one year of experience providing services for adults with mental illness and/or corresponding coursework in Human Services/Psychology.   Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team, knowledge of application of behavior modification and crisis intervention skills, and ability to manage detailed paperwork.  Requires valid driver's license.  Positions open until filled.  To apply, submit letter of application, resume and list of three references.

Full time case manager to work in the Billings Mental Health Center providing case management services for persons with mental illness. Prefer Bachelor's degree in a human services field with at least one year of full-time experience serving people with mental illness or five years full-time direct care experience in a mental health setting.  Requires good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to do detailed paperwork; valid driver's license; and a working knowledge of community services.

SATELLITE  THERAPIST

HARDIN

Outpatient program of the Billings Mental Health Center is seeking a dually licensed full time Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor to work in our Hardin satellite office. Duties include assessment, treatment planning and treatment through group, family, couples and/or individual therapy; provision of emergency services and community education as well as conducting chemical dependency assessments, intakes and facilitating individual and group sessions.  Experience in providing comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments preferred.  Would prefer dually licensed individual with LCPC or LCSW as well as LAC licensure or eligible for licensure.  Requires a working knowledge of ASAM patient placement criteria.  Position open until filled.  To apply, submit letter of application, resume, transcripts and list of three references to:
